Our mission
‘To improve therapy standards of care for people with Neuromuscular Disease.’
POD-NMD provides online resources for specialist neuromuscular and community-based physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
Our materials, including manuals, worksheets, audio-guided presentations, and podcasts, cover assessments, functional scales, and best practice for a range of neuromuscular conditions. In addition, our interactive e-learning courses enable physiotherapists to practice scoring assessments with patients.
These resources are also valuable for families, individuals with neuromuscular disease, and industry professionals.

We want to hear from people with a lived experience of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy or AHPs working with people with LGMD and collect tops tips to help navigate home and work.
